7:30pm at The Green Room, Department of Primary Industries & Fisheries Conference Centre, 203 Tor St ,Toowoomba.
AGM will be followed by guest speakers Bill Jolly (founding President), Rod Hobson (founding member), club stalwarts Pat McConnell (current Records Officer) & Michael Atzeni (current President), and Rosalie Bird Trails coordinator - and club member - Ross Begent, to celebrate the club's 30th Anniversary. To be assigned to a team or an area please contact Michael Atzeni (07) 4639 2761. On Saturday, those who wish to can meet around 10.30-11.00am at the Helidon Rest Area to collate records. Otherwise, ring through your records to Michael so that Sunday’s effort can be optimised. If you wish to start Friday, or continue on Monday that’s fine. Please keep in mind the species missing for the "250 in 2006" Challenge (For details, visit our website forum www.toowoombabirdobservers.org/forum).

Raptor survey on the last weekend. Pat McConnell will co-ordinate this outing, and there will be an article in the next newsletter with more details.
We are planning to have a social night with a few slides. Comments and suggestions welcome!
On Wednesday evening, 25 May, the Club is having a slide night in place of our usual outing. Time 7.15pm in the Lower Foyer of the Toowoomba City Hall. This is where we have our monthly executive meetings. Guest speaker will be club founder, Bill Jolly, talking on the birds of "Abberton" & the Lockyer Valley. Tea, coffee and milk will be provided. Bring along a plate of goodies. This should be a great night. Besides Bill's presentation, it will be a good chance to catch up with people who don't usually make it to outings.

TBO Executive Meeting at the Town Hall. 7:30 pm
Outing to Rockmount-Stockyard Creek area. Meet at 7 am at the industrial bins at the junction of Stockyard Creek and Flagstone Creek Roads, Stockyard Creek. This expedition will concentrate on exploring the new southern grids of our survey area. Rosalie Rudduck is our leader.
